Given that you'd then need to:
- install each client machine separately, and then nuke /usr
- install server separately
- update server with --netsharedpath
- update client with --netsharedpath
- update all clients in sync with any server updates
it seems simpler to me, by far, to just have a shared / partition on the
network. (Which is supported.)
