FYI, that bug is fixed in F11, they now both only start up in the respective
desktops, so you can't get them both running at once even if you install
them both at once.

We can't really fix this for existing releases without breaking updates for
some users (who are still using gnome-packagekit in KDE for whatever
reason – remember that F9 didn't ship with kpackagekit because it wasn't
available to be shipped at the time).
