Thanks - I thought that might be the case. I found out that the GDBM
format I was using to store the symbol database isn't platform
independent. Version 6 of the tool from here:
http://koji.fedoraproject.org/koji/taskinfo?taskID=1125029
has been changed to use Berkeley DB for storage instead.
