emacs font sizes

If your app does not accept sizes in pixels, or you do not pass pixel as
a unit, of course DPI will have an effect on the conversion to pixel
size. The other units are not based on a fixed pixel value.

If you want a mode that is dpi-invariant use dpi-invariant units.
