xzgv in Fedora broken? (was: Re: sound problems)

So, you punish the xzgv package maintainer because the maintainer
of memtest86+ has ignored you?

Instead, you could have made some noise much earlier. On this list
and also by trying to contact memtest86+ upstream. I know it sucks,
that tickets are closed automatically, hiding them under the carpet
even if the package owner has not posted a single comment. And it's
not nice either to get no answer on problem reports in bugzilla,
but the only way to fix that is to increase the number of maintainers
per package. Even if it's just for a single patch per year, step forward
and help with keeping a package in better shape.
