I see places where that's not done, the 'alsamixer' workaround among
them.  If you could look at the preview release notes and link to the
appropriate places (using "f11" instead of "f11preview" in the URL),
that would be good.  Documentation maintenance is much more difficult
if it has to be done in multiple places rather than through
incorporation by reference.

The Docs team remains open to assistance and welcomes input.  I would
recommend you start helping with the ideation process now, since the
discussion has already started:
