I was about to generate a reply to you regarding syntax questions, when
I noticed that apt is not included in &FC;. Didn't someone say that for
tutorials we should stick with purely &FED; software to avoid
"third-party utility" bloat in the docs? If not, let me throw that issue
on the table. (*bump* Soup spills everywhere.)
Sorry if this seems like backpedaling. I honestly didn't even think of
it until just now, when I decided to try installing apt to test your
suggestions. Now that I find it's not included, I am a little hesitant
-- OK, to be truthful, more than a little -- to put it in the
documentation. I don't have any axe to grind either way; I just never
got around to using apt.
Comments from anyone?
