cvs access

Hey all,

I have cvs access I received confirmation.  I'm trying to commit to cvs
except I'm getting the following error cvs [server aborted]: "commit"
requires write access to the repository

Where am I going wrong does anyone know?
That is the command I am running.

cvs commit selinux-faq

then
cvs commit selinux-faq-fc8

[marc Strike-Lap docs]$ cvs commit selinux-faq-fc8
cvs commit: Examining selinux-faq-fc8
