Glad you are thinking about security! If you take a peek over at
https://fedoraproject.org/wiki/Security_Guide you will find one of the
projects I've been working on. It isn't complete but there are some
links in there that will point you to some guides that are more complete
(they are for RHEL 5 but still apply to Fedora 9).
