Just a quick email to say that I've added some stuff to the front page
with the intention and other basic information.  Can people have a read
of it and comment so that we are all on the same page?

If you think it requires further information or elaborating please post
here so it can be discussed and we can come to a consensus on what the
layout/content/methodology will be.
