Hi Patrice, thanks for submitting this--its good to see someone volunteering 
to work on it!  I'm very busy right now and won't get a chance to look at it 
for a few days.  If Tom (who maintains the opendap package) or someone else 
doesn't sign on as the reviewer for this, then I'll do so next week.
