Ah, I think I understand what you tried to point out. The code
in %check would be appended to the previous spec section, when
an old rpmbuild doesn't see %check as a separate spec section,
but as just an ordinary undefined macro. Okay. Then it makes
sense to put it after %install and not after %clean.
