Lots of warnings with gcc4 on Fedora

Hi,
I am compiling (clearsilver) on Fedora4 and I am seeing a lot of these
warnings:
html.c:721: warning: pointer targets in passing argument 1 of 'strlen'
differ in signedness
html.c:721: warning: pointer targets in passing argument 1 of
'__builtin_strcmp' differ in signedness
Are these safe to ignore?
gcc version 4.0.1 20050727 (Red Hat 4.0.1-5)
