Is it possible to add pwc kernel module as Fedora Extras package?

hi,
   I want to add pwc kernel module driver to fedora extras. Why it was
discontinued from main kernel source code can be found at
http://www.smcc.demon.nl/webcam/ and current homepage for latest
source code is at http://www.saillard.org/linux/pwc/
  Should i then add it for review? or still i need to ask author for
publishable statement?
