There is some concern over the future status of the Mono stack in
Fedora, given the Novell-Microsoft agreement. Developers who like C#
as a language might be interested in exploring this new 'language',
Vala: http://vala.paldo.org.
Vala is a language with C#-like syntax, built around GObject. The
compiler generates C code that can then be compiled against the
standard GNOME libraries as usual.
One of the text editors for GNOME, Scratchpad, has already been ported
from C# to Vala:

If you're interested, please take the time and review the Vala package
for Fedora Extras:

Many thanks,
