from my point of view, I'm against any static allocation. I mean there
shouldn't be any "--hint or "-u" used by useradd in .spec files. Of
course there are some cases, when admin needs to specify UID for
particular user. He can do it before package install. And the fact that
anaconda do not allow to create system account before package
installation is another issue.

OK, I'm sure you understand we need to consider fedora-usermgmt in RHEL :-)
