Description of problem:
having this file installed 
http://www.ojuba.org/sharedfiles/SimplifiedNaskh.ttf

and used to render Arabic text will crash gtk applications


Actual results:
crash

Expected results:
no crash

Additional info:
if the font is corrupted it should not crash
and why it only crash in x86_64 systems
