How would you go about finding who owns the copyright to a font? I'm
wondering whether I could find the owners of a few rather nice fonts and talk
to them about open-sourcing.
Most probably the font would have some information about the designer in
the file itself.
This information is inside the font file. In GNOME, if you right-click
on the font file, you get the option to open the font in gnome-font-viewer.
You can also extract the same information if you open the font in fontforge.
