I'm struggling with the getting my dvd/cdrw device working on my Dell
latitude x200 laptop. The device is attached via firewire. When I was
running RH9.0 it was automatically found when I did the install. On FC1
it fails. The snippet from a dmesg indicates that the device is found
but fails so initialize:

Any suggestions or pointers would be appreciated and would keep me from
going back to RH 9.

thanks,

jack
