Promise SX4000 driver for fedora

Has anyone had any luck getting fedora to work with their promise cards?  I
tried the RH9 disk, but of course that did not work.  I read in the archives
about a different promise card and getting it to work somewhat, but most of
the links are dead that talk about building a driver disk.
