flash plugin

I just can't get the flash plugin to work. I dowloaded it and put the
files in the plugins directory in /usr/lib/mozilla and
/usr/lib/mozilla-1.4.1. Am I missing something here?

If you use apt you may include these lines in /etc/apt/sources.list and 
install with apt.

rpm http://ruslug.rutgers.edu/macromedia/apt redhat/8.0 macromedia
rpm http://ruslug.rutgers.edu/macromedia/apt redhat/7.x macromedia

After that you should be able to get flash plugin and install :

apt-get update
apt-get install flash-plugin
