Mozilla / Thunderbird problem

Not sure if anyone here could help - as a beginner I don't know if it's 
a Thunderbird problem, a Mozilla problem or a Fedora problem. I'm using
Thunderbird (thanks to suggestions from this group) but if TB is running
and I try and start Mozilla, I get an error message:

Components.classes['@mozilla.org/appshell/component/browser/instance;1']
has no properties

Anyone help me here? In simple English ;-)
