Which is the worst decision they ever made (IMHO :) What if I love
being able to customise the hell out of everything? Why should I have
that option removed because someone else thinks it is easier for some
third party... Of course, there are no doubt other reasons.
By far the best desktop I have ever used was gnome on redhat 7.3 +
ximian. Efficient, intuitive, customisable, excellent!

If a 6600 used paper tape instead of core memory, it would use up tape
