Have you noticed that you post your replies at the top of the message while
everyone else is posting at the bottom?

Anyhow,  I grabbed the binaries for Fedora from here:

http://clamav.sourceforge.net/binary.html#pagestart

If you're not going to scan email in real-time, you don't need clamav-mailter.

Anything more about Clam should probably be moved to the ClamAV mailing list.
