What do you mean by mp3 issue solved? The legal side is still the same.

As long as the mp3 patent will not get revoked by Fraunhofer Institute
the mp3 codec will not be shipped with Fedora and you might get an mp3
add-on from an external repository (like livna.org or freshrpms.net).
