Yes, correct, I should have mentioned that... A given IP-address can
have several names, all these can/should be placed after the IP-number
associated with them.

One has to careful with the 127.0.0.1 line though, as it is easy to mess
things up by removing localhost.localdomain, and/or localhost for that
line.

As I mentioned in my anser to William Hooper I have not seen this
myself, but that is probably because I seldom install from scratch, and
when I do, I have static IP-numbers and hostnames that gets put
correctly in /etc/hosts (se my answer to William Hooper.)
