can ATI driver 3.11.1 be used with FC2?

I haven't tried it yet, but if you go to one of the sister sites of 
www.fedorafaq.com (http://www.fedoraforum.org) there is a thread for 
this specific driver and an attached patch file.   The patch file is 
significantly differrent form the one for the old driver, it appears to 
address the specific problems I was having with my install.   

If I ever get the free time to attempt a build I will post the 
results.    I'm fairly confident that the patch addresses the in ability 
to build the module correctly.
