iPod and FC 2

Hi,

Could some advice me know to mount my iPod under FC 2?
I am connecting my iPod to my laptop via a FireWire
PCMCIA card.

I could see that the FireWire card is listed under the
Hardware Browser. But I could not locate my iPod. I
have the same problem when I tried to locate my HP
DVD200e.
