Tekram DC395U module FC2

Sofar I had no luck in compiling the module for the tekram scsi card. I knoiw that the souirce is in the kernel source, but I would like to compile just the module, so I can load it up with insmod.
My scanner is attached to this card, so I would like to have it working.
Can anyone give me instructions how to compile this module?
