I've noticed these problems as well on my tungsten e. got a fix. I don't
think it's udev. I booted into an older kernel (Linux version
2.6.8-1.541_10.rhfc2.at (bachbuilder at junior) (gcc version 3.3.3 20040412 (Red
Hat Linux 3.3.3-7)) #1 Mon Sep 13 08:42:07 EDT 2004) and it works fine. No
symlinks needed in /etc/udev/devices. I'm using pilot-link and kpilot.
