Installing Turck-MMCache PHP Accelerator on FC3?

Hi Listers,

SI'm trying to install Turck-MMCache PHP Accelerator on my FC3 server.  
The installation steps say:

export PHP_PREFIX="/usr"
$PHP_PREFIX/bin/phpize

Replacing "/usr" with the real prefix of my PHP installation directory.

My problem is that I can't seem to find it.  Call me dumb, well new to 
linux.  I've tried "locate phpize" to locate the directory referred to.  
Dosesn't find anything at all. Just returns a prompt.   I've tried 
locate php > phplocate.txt and then looking over the text file.  I find 
a lot of directory listings, but I suppose I don't really know what I am 
looking for.

Can someone direct me to the directory which would be considered the 
installation directory for PHP on FC3?
