FC3 DVD iso won't boot

DVD booted fine here too. An alternative approach that you might have
taken, given that you could read the DVD but not boot from it, would
have been to taken the boot.iso file from the images directory of the
DVD, burn that to a CD or CD/RW, boot from that and then install from
the DVD. Might have saved you downloading the 4 CDs.
