First:  Thomas, you are a role model for outreach!  Thanks for being

Liz, I see from later posts that you see files, so you probably didn't 
make the most common error with burning the CD.  But if it won't boot, 
either it doesn't have the proper boot sector, something else is missing 
on the disk, or you don't have the BIOS set correctly yet.  Starting 
with the last, you mention your setup/restore disk:  will the system 
boot from that?  If so, we can rule out the BIOS because it will boot 
from the device.  It's unlikely that you missed files on the burn if you 
used the iso image, because you're burning the whole container of files 
with the boot info at once.  So it looks likely that the CD isn't 
bootable for some reason.  Did you burn the Rescue CD?  Will it boot?  
If so, I'd try reburning disc1 and going at it again.

And keep posting.  Folks here are very good to start-ups, as you've seen 
with Thomas.
