Dell E173FP problem

hi there,

I have been using Fedora Core 2 for quite a while now and never had
any problems.

But now I have bought myself a Dell E173FP 17" flat panel monitor and I get a 
"cannot display this video mode" when I try to boot Linux.

Works fine on windows though.

Could somebody tell me wich files to adapt and how I should change them?

P.S.: my old screen wich worked file on linux was a Dell 17" CRT
monitor. I have a P4 3.0 Ghz with an ATI RADEON 9800 PRO grafics card.
