Hi,
Is it possible to dump a remotely mounted NFS filesystem to a local tape
drive.
I export a filesystem from machine1 to machine2
/users/rsch2 youngmunster(rw,no_root_squash,sync)
I mount this filesystem on machine 2
mount oc:/users/rsch2 /users/rsch2
Then when I try to dump it I get the following and an empty dump tape.
[root at youngmunster bin]# /sbin/dump 0 -a -f /dev/st0 /users/rsch2
DUMP: Date of this level 0 dump: Tue Dec 28 15:33:47 2004
DUMP: Dumping /dev/sda1 (/ (dir users/rsch2)) to /dev/st0
