Mounting Share folders (Windows Share)

Hi, to all
I have questions regarding the Mount command:

1. If i mount a share folder in windows, is there a time for 
disconnecting from that share. (in the mount command)?
I mount a share folder in a Windows 2000 server, and i know that there 
is no time limit in windows. But i always get disconnecting.
both the server and my PC are UP all the time.

2. If i loss the connection to that mount point for minutes, do i need 
to repeat the mount command to get connected?
