Sorry Sturla, this was a misinformation by me. I did not use these keys
for so long time. I forgot that under menu option Preferences -> Key
Combinations you only can use regular keys.
I think I mixed up myself with the experience when I did upgrade a
Debian box to a recent Gnome version and there I had the build-in
possibility to use the multimedia keys. But please do not ask me why
that option is not available on Fedora's Gnome too.
So lineak is still a tool of choice on FC1.
