Question regarding XMMS

Hi , 
I've just upgraded from rh 9 to fedora core 1. I have
XMMS with the xmms-status-plugin installed. What i
would like to know is there any way to hide the XMMS
in the Windowlist, as it seems redundant to have it in
the Notification area as well as the Window
list.(Something like how rhythmbox is setup in
fedora).
