Thanks for the suggestion, but the issue isn't with downloads getting
interrupted.  The files seem to download fine, but, for whatever reason, the
checksums never match.

Don't try to download using a web browser.  You _must_ download in
binary mode.  I suggest using wget(1) since it handles retries and
interrupted transfers quite nicely.  Something like this:

$ wget -c <paste-url-here>

should make your life much happier.
