How I updated to KDE 3.2

Hi,
I guess most people have found a way to update to KDE 3.2, but I have just 
accomplished it, and thought I would post my way of doing it and the issues I 
faced, hopefully saving someone else the trouble.

I used this article as a guide.

I used the section "To use yum to install KDE 3.2" at the bottom of the 
article.

I downloaded all the files from a mirror, into ~/tmp/kde32, and followed the 
procedure outlined in the article.

I logged out of KDE, and into Gnome and opened a terminal.
I ran yum check-update, which completed successfully.
When I ran "yum update kde" it failed, saying no such package with name kde.
I then ran "yum update kde*", and that worked perfectly.

I logged back into kde, and got the KDE 3.2 splash screen.
The desktop looked just like I left it, except several of my links had default 
icons, and the .desktop file extension.  I guess they were broken.  Not a 
problem, I can fix that.

There were a few other things that didn't seem quite right, so I moved the 
~/.kde directory to /tmp, and logged out.
When I logged back in, I got the Desktop Settings Wizard, a sure sign that 
things were looking up.  Now I had the new panel...very nice.  I like the 
sepeartors being invisible.

The next thing that didn't work was KMail.
I clicked the KMail icon, and it errored with:
kdeinit cannot start kmail.
I started kmail from a terminal and the actual error is:
cannot find libkdenetwork.so.2
KNode depends on this library, as well.

I did yum provides libkdenetwork.so.2, and that told me that kdepim-develop 
provides libkdenetwork.so.2, so I did yum install kdepim-develop, and 
installed kdepim-develop and it's dependencies.
Now KMail is working properly.

I haven't explored everything yet, but so far I'm very pleased, especially the 
speed.
