This problem has recently arisen after the newest kernel upgrade.I am yet
to apply any XFree86 updates.
The problem is that when I boot up fedora first time, the x
server(graphical mode) does not start and I am left with a blank screen
only. I then reboot into windows and then again reboot to fedora and the
boot up proceeds smoothly.
I had thought it was problem with the graphical login and so I swithched
to text mode, but then the system stopped before the x server startup
before the login screen is presented.
so its the probem with the X server , but the problem was not before my
updates.
any help and suggestions
