Installing from DVD?

Is there an easy way to install from a single DVD-R instead of 3 ISO
images?  Is there a procedure outlined somewhere?  If I copy the
contents to a single dir and burn that to a DVD-R, is the installer
smart enough to not prompt for separate disks?
