wanted help on updating rpms

respected linux lovers,
i have already installed red hat 9 (got from book) and i have
downloaded the fedora core-1 from the site
http://download.fedora.redhat.com/pub/fedora/linux/core/1/i386/iso/
and also http://torrent.dulug.duke.edu/ so can u tell me how to
upgrade the rpms.
