how to get one file from an RPM

hi
change the present working directory to /tmp folder and execute the following
command:
rpm2cpio modutils-2.4.18-3.7x.i386.rpm | cpio -iv -d -
m "./sbin/kernelversion" .
hope u can convert the command suitable to your requirement
