Others have answered this question, but be aware of the other acrobat 
crash situation.

If you search for text (Control-F) that does not exist in your document, 
acroread will inform you of this fact in a popup window, then crash when 
you click 'Ok'.

It's not a killer bug, but it is darn annoying.
