Thanks to Atul and to Adam for confirming my suspicions.  I tried
updating to Dell's latest BIOS (no improvement) and I could not reach
chzsoft.com.ar.

Any pointers to an appropriate BIOS update (per Adam's suggestion) would
be appreciated.  I've heard that there are updated Intel BIOS's but I
can't find them.  I'm running Intel video BIOS release 2980.

I'll keep digging and will report any success.  There has to be a way to
do it if others have done it.
