strange routing table

Why do I have this routing address on my routing table:

# route -n

Destination  Gateway    Genmask   Flags Metric Ref Use Iface
***          ***		**	    *     *     *   *    *
169.254.0.0  0.0.0.0  255.255.0.0   U     0     0   0   eth1

the subnet 169.254.0.0 always appear on every machine i installed with FC1.
sometimes its on eth0, other on eth1
