adding unlisted printers with redhat-config-printer

Hello, 

I would like to add a Tektronix 560 printer to cups with
redhat-config-printer, but it is not in the list of available printers.
I can add it to cups with its browser administration tool by adding its
ppd file to usr/share/cups/model, but that method doesn't make the ppd
available under redhat-config-printer. 

Does anyone know how to add a printer to the list of available printers
under redhat-config-printer?
