If you go to wine's download page on sourceforge, somewhere near the
bottom is a file called winesetuptk. It's a gui that automatically
configures wine for you. That's what I usually use. Works great on
Fedora.
Did you have to perform any weird prelink-related shenanigans to get
wine to run without barfing?
