I think what you do is right click the file and you get a menu to open
with... there is a option to open with a "other application"? sound
familiar? there it opens another menu, and shows the applications that
it will open it with as default. down at the bottom is "Go There".
click that,
and in the program to run box type in the name of the program you want
to associate with your bzip2 files. OR, when you right click the file
and click "other application" in that menu, click "modify" and and
select don't include in the menu for " " items. see if this helps you.
